A bird’s eye view of building

The Knights Stronghold, Leeds Castle

Working through wind, rain, snow and sometimes sunshine, the CAP.CO team have recently completed the build of the amazing new Knights Stronghold adventure playground at Leeds Castle in Kent, one of the country's ten Treasure Houses. It was opened on the 13th April by CBBC's Ben Cajee and has been an immediate success. In the previous blog post here, we showed you some of the thinking behind the design and how the CAP.CO team drew on stories of the castle’s evolving history and the many changes it has gone through in its 900 years of existence. Through this approach, a layer of educational interpretation has evolved, inspiring the imagination, deepening the excitement and increasing the play value of the new playground for all those visiting.

But rather than show you it in full, we’ll just give you a bit of a teaser with some views of the build from above. These were taken by our very own Joe Hallam who worked on the project through all of the weather.
