We recently shared the story of the build with the industry via our friends at Blooloop and gave them a few staggering stats. As The Lost Castle of Lowther is being constructed entirely on-site it will take more than 3500 man and women hours to build, with the team burning nearly 300,000 calories. If laid end to end, the total length of timber used would stretch for 11 miles, the whole length of Lake Windermere with a bit to spare. If stood on top of one another it would be 13 times the height of Ben Nevis. There are some great build pictures too. Read it here.
