After the success of the Adventure Cove at Culzean Castle, which won an architectural award at the Making Spaces Awards we were commissioned to build a second phase that was to be called the Wild Woodland. This saw us moving into the deep woodland that surrounds the site. The design cues were taken from existing buildings and landmarks around the wider estate. You can see the various phases of the build throughout our blog. We started with managing the planning process for National Trust for Scotland. When planning was approved, we moved onto site for the first stage of the build. This involved plenty of hand carrying of materials into the woodlands. Build progress was very good as we were unusually lucky with the weather. Soon the structures were stretching through the woodlands and joining up with the (still) beautiful Adventure Cove.
So here it is, in all its glory. Finished and ready for play.
